bon séjour dans un bel endroit. Chambre simple est bien suffisante, salle de bains un peu petite. Wifi capricieux, tributaire aussi des coupures de courant. pour le reste, piscine, plage, le bonheur. Nourriture correcte et simple, mais bien suffisante.

We stayed here 2-9th April 2023 staying in room 204. My husband, myself and our 14 year old. Our room was basic but VERY clean & tidy and did everything we needed it to do! We had an apartment style room so our son had a sofa bed in the front room, a kitchenette and hot water in the shower at all times. The food in the restaurant was amazing! I’m fussy and still found food everyday. From the most amazing lasagne to lamb koffte to vegetable samosas. The drinks at the bar were fine, our son loved their milkshakes and cold coffees and the beer was good. What makes this hotel though is the staff, they are incredible! The most happy, genuine people we’ve ever met. We travelled during Ramadan and they must’ve been starving and boiling but you would never know. I had a broken arm when we went and the staff were really helpful and wouldn’t even let me get my own drinks, insisting I got table service. Too many staff to mention but we made friends and have kept in touch with Dam and Mustafa who helped make our holiday. All the staff here are excellent and a credit to this wonderful hotel. We would definitely return.

Leuk Hotel. Mooie kamer. Vriendelijk personeel. Top ligging 😎🏝🇬🇲. Eten was goed maar niet super. 3de maal in Gambia. Hotel was voor Gambiaanse normen zeer geslaagd. Vooral de ligging strand in Kotu is meer levendig (bars,Markets,Restaurants,…) dan in Bakau waar ik mijn vorige vakanties verbleef. Zeer geslaagde vakantie 🏝🇬🇲🫶🏻😎❤️

I have travelled Africa extensively on business. I needed a sunshine break travelling solo. I stayed at this hotel for the first time in March 23. This was partly during Ramadam. The hotel room had everything that you needed and everything worked as it should. The bathroom was a little tired and cramped but you could do everything needed. planty of ht water. The restaurant cuisine was better than I expected with a varied menu. It was buffet style. The beer was excellent. A tip to the traveller, take a warm jumper as when the sun goes down, the wind builds and the bar is open to the wind on two sides.

The food not up to much very repetitious very poor, breakfast rooms kept very clean the gardens very smart staff always begging for money. I’ve been several times to Gambia never had this problem before plenty of sunbeds no animation team entertainment every night

What wonderful and pleasant helpful staff Delicious food every mealtime Hottest weather I've ever encountered ,definitely bring your factor 50. Lovely place to tick off mt list, with basic but clean accommodation

This was our 5th visit to sunset beach but our first since it became all inclusive. As always the staff are excellent, nothings too much trouble . But to get the best service be generous and tip them . It means a lot to them . The rooms are basic and haven’t changed much over the years but are very clean although our towels didn’t get changed once during our stay . We were pleasantly surprised by the food it was all very tasty and you could tell that the kitchen staff took pride in their work. The entertainment was ok but not much space for people to sit outside and watch it which is a shame . The pool area was nice with plenty of sun beds and the pool attendants were very attentive and very helpful. A massive negative for me was that there are no hairdryers in the rooms you have to get one from reception when you need one . The website says they have them so I assumed they were in all rooms like most modern hotels so I didn’t take my own unfortunately when I needed one there wasn’t any availability at reception. You do get bothered when walking out of the hotel with people wanting to take you on trips or sell you juice , fruit, clothes but a simple no thank you usually helps they stop bothering you once they know you have been there a few days . All in all a very enjoyable week in the sun

This hotel is amazing the staff are so helpful very polite I would recommend this hotel vey clean brilliant food and of course the weather . Me and my husband went in March 2023. It was brilliant.regards k howson

This is the worst hotel I've stayed, no access to the beach, it was filthy dirty, outlet river near beach and disgusting, all the food was poor choice and always cold, tui rep not helpful at all. Bad.
